- safely and efficiently load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft: the ramp agent must ensure that all baggage, cargo, and mail are properly loaded and secured on the aircraft to prevent damage during transport.
- marshal aircraft in and out of the gate: the ramp agent will be responsible for guiding the aircraft to and from the gate using handheld signaling devices to ensure safe and efficient movement.
