Railway Equipment Engineer (Mechanical) Location:- Tanzania

Responsibilities:-

- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for railway equipment, ensuring functionality, safety, and efficiency.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions for railway equipment enhancements and upgrades.

- Conduct thorough analysis and testing of mechanical designs to validate performance and compliance with industry standards.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance during the installation, maintenance, and repair of railway equipment.

Requirements:-

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master or Doctors is an added advantage)

- Proven experience in designing and engineering mechanical systems, preferably in the railway or transportation sector.

- Proficiency in CAD software for design and modeling.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Familiarity with railway safety regulations and standards.

- Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- At least 10 yrs experience in domain especially design and planning workshop facilities.
