- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging tests: As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting various diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, and PET scans to help diagnose and treat patients.
- Maintain and update patient records: You will be required to accurately maintain and update patient records with all relevant information related to the imaging tests performed, results, and diagnosis provided.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals: Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, surgeons, and specialists, to discuss and plan patient treatment based on the imaging results.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort: Taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures, as well as explaining the process and providing support to alleviate any fears or concerns.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology: Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements and technologies in the field of radiology to provide the most accurate and effective imaging services to patients.
Required Skills and Expectations:
- Must have a degree in MBBS and completed a residency in Radiology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in interpreting imaging tests.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures and results to patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
