Quality Visual / Line Inspector

Responsibilities:

 Physically counting the parts as per offered quantity in SAP.

 Moving the counted parts to waiting for inspection visual area.

 Identifying ok & not ok parts with tags.

 Moving the ok parts to next stage.

 Understanding and adhering of department Significant Aspects/Impacts

 Understanding and adhering of department work instruction or procedures

 Adopt KAPL Waste segregation Method

 Handling/storage/disposal of Hazardous waste /Hazardous chemical

 Communicate the below mentioned information to department core team member as per internal

communication procedure

 Perform EMS relevant task as per department core team member instruction

Quality Line Inspector

Responsibilities:

 Inspecting the parts as per First off/ Inprocess Inspection Records.

 Validating the First off/ Inprocess Inspection Records for completeness, correctness with signatures and

stamps.

 Review of Setup sheets & Tool Layouts before first-off approval.

 Verify instruments/gauges used in in-process inspections are with calibration status.

 Following 6S activities in-process quality area.

 Control of Non Conformance outputs at in-process stages

 Performs Visual Inspection on sample basis during In-process stage.

 Performs inspection without delay for setting approval & after tool change to reduce timing of

machine idle.

 Shift End communication within in-process team members.

 Provide Guidance to the operators.

 Escalating Quality Issues to Supervisor.
