Job Title : Senior Quality In-Charge
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 5 Years experience in manufacturing and precision engineering industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
1) Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection of manufactured components.
2) Lead and manage the quality inspection team, including work allocation and training.
3) Ensure adherence to quality standards, drawings, and customer specifications.
4) Implement and maintain quality systems and SOPs.
5) Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis, and corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
6) Coordinate with production, engineering, and stores for quality-related issues.
7) Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits.
8) Monitor rejection, rework, and scrap levels and drive continuous improvement.
9) Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and reports.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical or related field.
Strong knowledge of inspection tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM – if applicable).
Understanding of ISO quality standards (ISO 9001 preferred).
Experience in team handling and coordination.
Good problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to moulds, machining, or industrial components.
Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans (added advantage).
Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality functions
