Quality Control Officer

Job Responsibilities:

Perform accessioning verification by reviewing Test Requisition Forms and specimen data to ensure accuracy.

Issue discrepancy reports to the lab for corrective actions.

Conduct Real-Time PCR analysis and interpret results using Rotor-Gene software.

Enter and verify laboratory result reports for Real-Time PCR, Conventional PCR, Western blot, and ELISA tests.

Evaluate lab results for repeat or reflex testing.

Follow up on pending results and maintain communication with lab personnel.

Perform batch processing of test results for release.

Submit weekly reports of positive communicable disease results to state agencies as required.

Experience:
