About the Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to enhance payment systems and deliver the best customer experience. The role involves analyzing testing requirements, designing and executing test cases, maintaining automated tests, managing defects, and contributing to QA process improvement and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze testing requirements and develop testing scenarios based on the testing methodology.

Design, create, review, maintain, and update test cases based on specifications.

Prepare test data, tools, and environments required for test execution.

Execute test cases, test scripts, and test data-related tasks.

Execute functional and non-functional testing.

Report defects, track their status, and verify fixes.

Participate in testing discussions, communities, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Contribute to improving testing collateral through lessons learned.

Provide training and instructions to newcomers.

Serve as an SME in responsible areas and provide domain knowledge to QA engineers and developers.

Required Skills and Experiences

4-10 years of experience as a QA Engineer or QA Leader.

Ability to understand and analyze technical specifications and design test cases.

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and QA tools such as ALM, TestRail, TestLink, and QASymphony.

Hands-on experience with Agile Scrum and Waterfall SDLC.

2+ years of experience running and maintaining automated test cases for mobile apps, web apps, or APIs.

Professional experience with Appium, Selenium, or Unirest/Rest Assured.

Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development tools such as Jenkins or Bitrise.

Experience writing SQL, Java, or C# for UI, API, and backend database testing.

Experience creating complex SQL queries to verify testing results.

Preferred Qualifications

ISTQB or equivalent certification.

Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS.

Experience working with microservices.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience working in a fast-paced IT/Web industry environment.

Experience in standardizing QA processes and methodologies and/or proposing QA process improvements.

Experience proposing and introducing new QA tools into the testing process.

Experience in development or QA of systems in the financial and/or payment sector.

Experience running performance tests using Gatling, Wrk, or JMeter.

Experience with Bash or other CLI scripting.

Curiosity and passion for learning new technologies.

Experience leveraging AI/LLM-based tools in daily workflows such as code development, reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation, while ensuring human oversight, judgment, and accountability.
