Hiring For QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Appium, and Mobile Application Testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for Android and iOS applications, along with functional, regression, integration, and API testing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mobile automation test scripts using Java and Appium.

Perform end-to-end testing of Android and iOS mobile applications.

Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium/Appium.

Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.

Identify, document, track, and validate defects using tools such as Jira.

Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure product quality.

Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

Perform cross-device and cross-platform testing.

Analyze automation failures, logs, and test results and troubleshoot issues.

Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test data, and automation documentation.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Skills

Strong programming experience in Java.

Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation.

Strong experience testing both Android and iOS applications.

Experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks.

Good understanding of Mobile UI, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

Experience with TestNG/JUnit.

Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.

Good understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
