About the role

Vector Logic is seeking an experienced, well-connected Public Relations Officer to lead media relations, corporate communications, institutional outreach and government-facing coordination for its technology and AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

- Build and maintain professional relationships with Odisha's print, television and digital media.

- Coordinate press releases, interviews, news coverage, press briefings and media follow-ups.

- Represent Vector Logic and its AI initiatives, including BOS LLM, professionally.

- Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with government departments, educational institutions, industry bodies and relevant organizations.

- Support government AI project proposals, training initiatives, pilot projects and institutional partnerships.

- Identify relevant public-sector programmes, partnership opportunities and industry events.

- Prepare meeting briefs, proposals, communication materials and weekly progress reports.

- Maintain an organized database of media contacts, institutional stakeholders, meetings and follow-ups.

Requirements

- Ideally 3-7 years of relevant experience in PR, journalism, corporate communications, public affairs or government liaison.

- Demonstrable, current professional relationships with Odisha journalists and media organizations.

- Experience coordinating with institutions or government departments.

- Excellent Odia and English communication; Hindi is an advantage.

- Strong writing, networking, presentation and follow-up skills.

- Willingness to travel locally for meetings and events.
