PTR Operator Job in Bahrain

we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced ptr (pneumatic tire roller) operator to join our team in bahrain. the ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining ptr equipment to ensure the efficient and effective compaction of various surfaces in construction projects. this role demands a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure the successful completion of compaction tasks and the overall quality of the construction projects.

job responsibilities:

operate and control the ptr equipment to facilitate the compaction of various surfaces, including asphalt, soil, and other construction materials, in accordance with project specifications and requirements.

perform regular inspections and routine maintenance on the ptr equipment to ensure its optimal performance and identify any potential issues or malfunctions.

collaborate closely with the construction team to understand project plans, compaction requirements, and specific tasks, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the construction process.

adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, emphasising the importance of maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel and equipment on the construction site.

monitor and adjust the ptr's controls to achieve the appropriate level of compaction, ensuring the uniform distribution and consolidation of materials for the desired density and stability of the surfaces.

report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly, facilitating timely repairs and minimising potential project delays or hazards.

maintain accurate records of daily operations, including work logs, equipment usage, and any incidents or challenges encountered during the compaction process.
