· manage dalit human rights program/project through field visits, project review meetings, and regular correspondence with the partners for timely and efficient implementation of the project activities.
· conduct fact findings , ensure timely legal intervention and its regular follow up in cases of violence and discrimination against dalits and adivasis.
· prepare case briefs, press notes and press releases.
· facilitate and conduct capacity building trainings/workshops for hrds/advocates/partners on constitutional and legal mechanisms and provide timely guidance to the partners and defenders
· represent the organisation in other dalit and adivasi rights movements/campaigns
· collaborate and manage key relationships with state and national human rights institutions, government and ministers.
· support the partners and activists for effective implementation of poa act with government institutions and nhris.
· conduct research on dalit and adivasi issues and develop training manuals.
· ensure compliance to donor requirements ensuring financial management of the project and timely submission of financial reports and follow up on the suggested actions in coordination with the finance officer.
· collect and consolidate six monthly and annual narrative reports in compliance to donor requirements.
· prepare proposals for the donors.
· manage, coordinate and facilitate donor visits to project area
· perform other duties as assigned in support of the work of the organization.
