Product Designer

We are seeking a product design intern to join our team. We are looking for people who think beyond the box, are self-starters, have a strong aesthetic sense, and are décor role involves coming up with ideas for and designing furniture pieces that are consistent with Evolve's brand philosophy and design will be a part of defining and shaping the identity for our furniture line.

Responsibility

● Working with the founding team to develop Evolve’s first furniture range

● Understand the brief and create moodboards

● Drafts can be created on paper or digitally (for example, using CAD)

● Design products and components with 3D modelling software

● Render as per requirements

● Have an understanding of current industry trends and market conditions

● Research materials and techniques

● Identify new product improvement opportunities

Requirements

● Creativity in mixing up colours, shapes and techniques

● Brilliant eye for aesthetic design and customer appeal

● Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools

● Good knowledge of 3D modelling software

● Experience with design programs (like Illustrator and Sketch)

● Should be a self starter and have the ability to work well in a team environment

● Good written and oral communication skills

● Time-management skills

● Should have designed furniture pieces for their college projects
