we are seeking a product design intern to join our team. we are looking for people who think beyond the box, are self-starters, have a strong aesthetic sense, and are décor role involves coming up with ideas for and designing furniture pieces that are consistent with evolve's brand philosophy and design will be a part of defining and shaping the identity for our furniture line.

responsibility

● working with the founding team to develop evolve’s first furniture range

● understand the brief and create moodboards

● drafts can be created on paper or digitally (for example, using cad)

● design products and components with 3d modelling software

● render as per requirements

● have an understanding of current industry trends and market conditions

● research materials and techniques

● identify new product improvement opportunities

requirements

● creativity in mixing up colours, shapes and techniques

● brilliant eye for aesthetic design and customer appeal

● hands-on experience with computer-aided design (cad) tools

● good knowledge of 3d modelling software

● experience with design programs (like illustrator and sketch)

● should be a self starter and have the ability to work well in a team environment

● good written and oral communication skills

● time-management skills

● should have designed furniture pieces for their college projects
