Roles & responsibilities
Prepare screens, ensuring they are clean, properly tensioned, and coated with emulsion for optimal print quality.
Mix inks accurately, matching colors precisely according to job specifications, and maintaining ink consistency throughout the print run.
Operate manual screen printing equipment skillfully to achieve desired print results and meet production deadlines.
Perform quality control checks throughout the printing process, identifying and correcting any defects such as misprints, smudges, or inconsistencies.
Desired candidate profile
High school diploma or equivalent is a basic requirement, with vocational training in screen printing being highly advantageous.
Possession of a Screen Printing Certification or relevant industry certifications is a plus, indicating a commitment to professional standards.
A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in screen printing, demonstrating practical knowledge and expertise.
Demonstrated ability to accurately match colors and mix inks, showcasing a keen eye for detail and color theory.
