Job Description: Pricing Analyst (Chennai - Remote)
Job Summary
The Pricing Analyst supports the Global Pricing Network and the Finance Business Partnering (FBP) community by delivering high-quality, value-based pricing analysis to improve margin realization and pricing discipline across the company. Based in the India Excellence Center, this role acts as the -engine room- for global pricing strategy-automating data collection, identifying margin leakages, and running elasticity simulations. The Pricing Analyst provides accurate, high-frequency pricing insights and tools to enable fact-based, value-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance pricing tools, calculators, dashboards, and reporting automation (Power BI, Excel).
- Perform product, customer, and market pricing analysis to support transition from cost-plus to value-based pricing.
- Deliver price waterfall, elasticity, and margin insights to Finance BPs and commercial leaders.
- Support Pricing Manager and FBPs with council materials, dashboards, and tactical recommendations.
- Contribute to global pricing governance (exceptions, discount logic, price-realization tracking).
- Drive strategic pricing initiatives including segmentation, benchmarking, elasticity modeling, and value-added frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience: 3-5 years in pricing analysis, commercial finance, FP&A, or business analytics.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling, reporting, and analytical capabilities; advanced Excel & Power BI; SAP/CPQ tools a plus.
- Knowledge: Value-based pricing concepts, customer segmentation, margin drivers, price realization.
- Soft Skills: Proactive mindset, structured approach, attention to detail, ability to challenge constructively.
- Communication: Strong teamwork, stakeholder management, and ability to simplify complex analytics.
- Languages: Fluency in English; additional languages an asset.
- Work Style: Comfortable in remote, multicultural, cross-functional environments.
