hi,

presently there is an opening for position of power plant head for a leading company in bangalore.

qualification: in mechanical/electrical engineering from a reputed aicte approved engineering college with 1 st class.

experience : 12-15 years of experience in the following areas:

a) power plant project and construction management for a medium capacity thermal or waste heat recovery power plant including btg, bop and all auxiliaries

b) operations & maintenance of entire power plant including dcs operation as an overall coordinator at the level of plant head / t head.

salary : 45 to 50 lpa

work location : hospet, bangalore

preferences :

1) m. tech / ms in power plant engineering or thermal power engineering.

2) boe certification; pmp certification

3) looking a plant head working in automotive industry handling machine shop operation and rolling mills.

job description:

· candidate should have good working knowledge of running and maintaining the power plant.

· candidate should have experienced in handling stg, boiler and bop repair and maintenance requirements.

· maintain all plant facility within required timeframe and monitor all unit outages and manage all communication for projects.

· manage and ensure achievement of all operation objectives.

· collect all data for all plant operations and design and implement all processes according to required policies and processes.

· participate in all improvement meetings and provide training to all employees and provide support to all product development activities.

· coordinate with various departments to manage all activities for plant such as shipping, operations and safety activities and monitor inventory of all products.

· determine and supervise required production targets to reduce cost and facilitate required changes to maintain product quality at all times.

· coordinate with plant head to achieve all plant and regional objectives.
