• Assess patients’ mobility, strength, posture, balance and physical limitations.
• Develop personalised treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and mobility training.
• Use approved treatment methods such as heat, cold, ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Support patients recovering from surgery, injury, stroke or neurological conditions.
• Treat musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families about exercises, posture and injury prevention.
• Recommend mobility aids and assistive devices when required.
• Maintain accurate assessment, treatment and progress records.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Encourage patients and provide emotional support throughout rehabilitation.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety and professional standards.
• Maintain and inspect physiotherapy equipment.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations.
