about the role

practically is hiring a php developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. their primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

•

key responsibilities:

- participate on an agile (scrum) team, contribute to complexity and time estimates, identify risks, and contribute to regular scope discussions and commitments.

- be knowledgeable of trends and practices in web development. proactively identify potential problems and opportunities to improve applications and processes, with emphasis on usability, performance, and security

- strong understanding of data structures and oops concepts

- work independently & demonstrate complete end to end ownership of the work items

- effective communication and coordination with other development, qa teams

- constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending learning programs inhouse and external courses

- flexible to adjust to changing work demands/ technology etc

- good knowledge is working with linux.

- candidates who have knowledge in identifying and writing reusable code (modules) will be given preference.

- develop web applications and implement new features in php with codeigniter framework and mysql for writing high-performance queries, stored procedures db tuning and administration.

- good knowledge of front-end technologies like javascript, jquery, css, html5, bootstrap, ajax

- knowledge of visualization frameworks like google charts, high charts.

- java prog knowledge would be an added plus but not mandatory.
