Key Responsibilities

Development: Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code using PHP and the Laravel framework.

Feature Implementation: Design and implement new features and functionality for existing and new web applications, often related to user engagement, campaign tracking, and content delivery.

Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage scalable databases (primarily MySQL) to ensure application performance and data integrity.

API Integration: Integrate various third-party services, APIs, and micro services for functionality like payment processing, email marketing, and analytics.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code reliability and application stability. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

Front-End Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements developed by them with server-side logic. (Experience with modern JS frameworks like is a plus).

Security & Performance: Optimize applications for speed and scalability, and ensure the security of all web properties against common vulnerabilities.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for new features and code bases.

Skills and Qualifications

Must-Haves (Backend/PHP):

Expert PHP: Strong proficiency in PHP and its object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

Laravel Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience with the Laravel framework (routing, Eloquent ORM, service providers, queues, and artisan console).

Databases: Solid understanding of relational databases, strong experience with MySQL, including complex query optimization.

API Development: Experience designing and consuming Restful APIs.

Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitHub/GitLab for collaborative development.

Good-to-Haves (Front-end/DevOps):

Front-End Basics: Working knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Modern JS: Familiarity with a modern JavaScript framework (, React, or Angular) is a significant advantage.

Cloud/DevOps: Experience with deployment, containerization and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

General:

Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with non-technical team members.
