Pharmacist - Full Time

Key Responsibilities

Prescription Verification & Dispensing: Carefully review and interpret physician prescriptions to ensure correct dosages, detect potential drug-drug interactions, and prevent medical errors before compounding or dispensing medications.

Patient Counseling: Advise patients on how to take their medications safely, explaining proper dosages, potential side effects, storage conditions, and food-drug contraindications.

Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor pharmacy stock levels, manage procurement, track expiry dates, and ensure proper storage conditions (such as specific temperature maintenance for cold-chain medications like insulin).

Statutory & Legal Compliance: Maintain meticulous registers for scheduled drugs, narcotics, and controlled substances in strict accordance with local drug regulations and healthcare laws.

Billing & Insurance Processing: Efficiently manage the pharmacy point-of-sale (POS) system, process cash/digital billing, and handle health insurance claims or corporate healthcare network approvals.

Healthcare Collaboration: Coordinate closely with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to clarify prescription details or recommend therapeutic alternatives when necessary.

Hygiene & Safety Standards: Ensure the pharmacy premises remain highly organized, sterile, clean, and in compliance with healthcare safety guidelines.
