Job Description: PGT Commerce Teacher

Position Overview

We are seeking dynamic and dedicated Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in Commerce to teach senior secondary classes (Grades 11 & 12). The ideal candidate should have expertise in one or more of the following subjects: **Commerce, Accountancy, Business Studies, or Economics**, and a passion for guiding students toward academic excellence and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities

- **Teaching & Learning**

- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Commerce-related subjects.

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and innovative learning strategies.

- Ensure syllabus coverage as per CBSE/State Board guidelines.

- Use modern teaching aids, ICT tools, and real-life case studies to enhance learning.

Assessment & Evaluation

- Conduct formative and summative assessments.

- Prepare question papers, assignments, and projects.

- Evaluate answer scripts fairly and provide constructive feedback.

Student Development

- Mentor students for board exams, competitive exams, and career guidance.

- Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ethical business practices.

- Support students in commerce-related clubs, events, and competitions.

Administrative & Compliance

- Maintain proper records of attendance, marks, and performance.

- Ensure compliance with CBSE/MP State Board norms and school policies.

- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

- Masters Degree in Commerce/Accountancy/Business Studies/Economics.

- . or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).

Experience

- Minimum 23 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level preferred.

- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply.

Skills

- Excellent command over subject matter and communication skills.

- Ability to integrate technology into teaching.

- Bilingual ability (English & Hindi) preferred for effective communication.
