Opening For PGT Biology Teacher (Female)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Biology Teacher for our school in Sangrur, Punjab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology and experience in teaching at the high school level. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment and helping students develop a deep understanding of biological concepts.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in Biology for students in grades 11 and 12.

Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure the proper handling of materials and equipment.

Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects.

Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their understanding of biological concepts.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

Master's degree in Biology or a related field.

Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Biology is preferred.

3-5 years of experience in teaching Biology at the high school level.

Strong knowledge of the biology curriculum and educational standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to engage and motivate students through innovative teaching methods.

Proficiency in using educational technology and laboratory equipment.
