position overview
as a groomer trainee at pawpad, you’ll receive comprehensive hands-on training from experienced professionals and gradually take on independent grooming responsibilities.
key responsibilities
learn professional grooming techniques under expert supervision
assist in bathing, drying, brushing, and basic grooming during training
handle cats and dogs safely and compassionately
maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the grooming studio
deliver excellent customer service to pet parents
travel to client locations for home grooming appointments
progress to independent grooming work as your skills develop
requirements
must have:
education: minimum 10th pass
age: 18 years and above
two-wheeler: own vehicle with a valid driving license (mandatory for mobile grooming)
languages: english, hindi, or kannada (fluency in any one is required; more is a plus!)
physical fitness: able to stand for long hours, lift pets (up to 25 kg), and handle physically demanding work
animal handling: comfortable managing both cats and dogs independently
love for animals: patience, compassion, and empathy are a must
