responsibilities & requirements

• aware of basic concept of performance testing ., nfrs, workload modelling, scenarios, 

• should be able to write programs in java or python.

• have knowledge of all the test phases of performance testing - requirement gathering, scripting, execution, reporting etc

• hand on expertise on test scripting /execution and reporting for at least below tools sets (in priority order)

o jmeter

o load runner

• aware of basics protocol scripting . web-http/web services/java /mq

• working knowledge of basics technologies and server from performance monitoring purpose 

o operating system counter (windows/unix)

o java server

o db - oracle /mysql etc

• basic knowledge on performance engineering concepts with any of the tools or similar tool set

o appdynamics/visual/ibmthread & heapanalyzer/dynatrace/oracle awr

• basic awareness of new trends and technologies like cloud/bigdata/mobile testing would be added

• candidates good in java programming who would like to shift to performance testing may apply too
