JOB DESCRIPTION PEDIATRICIAN (SRI RAM HOSPITAL)

Treat children who have minor illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and growth and development concerns. Treat acute illnesses, infections, or injuries.

Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results. Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.

Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury in infants and children.

Examine patients perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical condition and determine diagnosis. Examine patients to assess general physical condition.

Advise patients, parents or guardians, and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. Provide health and wellness advice to patients, program participants, or caregivers

Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and parents or guardians. Explain medical procedures or test results to patients or family members.

Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary. Monitor patient progress or responses to treatments.

Plan and execute medical care programs to aid in the mental and physical growth and development of children.

Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner/ higher center for further treatment when necessary (if not available in our hospital).

Responsible for Daily OPDs.

Responsible for daily IPDs (Admitted patients) rounds.

Responsible for OP IP conversion of the patient if necessary.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS ALONG WITH EXPERIENCE

MBBS degree with valid registration with concern authority + DCH / MD or Equivalent with 1 2 years of experience.

Kannada Language is mandatory.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
