job responsibilities:

operate the paving equipment, including asphalt or concrete pavers, to lay and distribute materials evenly on surfaces, following project specifications and requirements.

conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance on the paver to ensure optimal performance and promptly identify any potential issues or malfunctions.

collaborate closely with the construction team to understand project plans, paving requirements, and specific tasks, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the paving process.

adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a secure working environment for all personnel and equipment on the construction site.

monitor and adjust the paver's controls to achieve the appropriate thickness, smoothness, and texture of the laid surface, ensuring uniform distribution and consolidation of materials.

report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly, facilitating timely repairs and minimizing potential project delays or hazards.
