responsibilities:
prepare and create a wide range of classic and contemporary french pastries such as croissant, Éclair, macaron, tarte, madeleine, soufflé, chocolate mousse, crème brûlée, and french toast.
develop innovative recipes while maintaining authentic french taste and presentation standards.
supervise baking, decorating, and finishing processes to ensure high-quality products.
manage ingredients, stock rotation, and storage to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
ensure compliance with food safety (haccp) and hygiene standards within the pastry section.
design seasonal dessert menus and customized pastries for restaurants, hotels, and special events.
focus on presentation and plating to reflect premium quality and fine dining standards.
skills required:
proven experience in preparing french pastries and desserts in high-end hotels or restaurants.
advanced knowledge of doughs, chocolate work, creams, mousses, and fruit-based desserts.
strong artistic skills in decoration and plating.
creativity in developing new recipes and unique dessert concepts.
ability to work efficiently under pressure with excellent time management.
knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
