educational support to the multidisciplinary team

a link with the multidisciplinary team within primary & secondary care to act as a resource on recovery & rehabilitation of cardiac patients and encourage secondary prevention measures & long-term monitoring of patients with identified coronary risk factors

titration of ACE & B/Blockers at CHD clinic & Cardiac Rehab

support with development of protocols for care/treatment/secondary prevention of cardiac patients in line with national guidelines

a service for GP’s & UHL A&E department for patients presenting with chest pain to be reviewed within 2 weeks of referral

a cardioversion service for patients who meet the criteria set out in local and national guidelines
