Orthopedic Arthroplasty Fellowship Involves Intensive Training in Joint Reconstruction. Core Responsibilities Include Pre-operative Surgical Planning, Assisting or Performing Primary and Revision Joint Replacements, Managing Post-operative Inpatient Care, and Completing Clinical Research Projects.

Clinical & Patient Careoutpatient Clinics: Evaluate New and Follow-up Patients, Formulate Diagnoses, and Plan Non-operative or Surgical tient Rounds & Floor Work: Conduct Daily Ward Rounds, Manage Pain Protocols, and Oversee Post-operative Rehabilitation for Joint Replacement lication Management: Anticipate, Diagnose, and Treat Intraoperative and Post-operative Complications (., Infections, Prosthetic Failures).🔪 Surgical Responsibilitiespre-operative Planning: Map Out Surgical Approaches and Coordinate Necessary Instrumentation or Specialized ative Assistance: Scrub in as the Primary Assistant to Senior Attendings, Providing Exposure to Complex ary & Revision Procedures: Progress from Basic Exposures to Performing Primary and Revision Hip, Knee, and Sometimes Shoulder/elbow Arthroplasties Independently (under Supervision).advanced Technologies: Utilize Modern Techniques, Including Computer-navigated and Robotic-assisted Surgeries, When Available At the Institution.📚 Academics & Researchresearch Projects: Design, Execute, and Complete At Least One Clinical or Biomechanical Research Project Suitable for Publication in a Peer-reviewed Journal. Conferences & Journal Clubs: Present Interesting Case Studies, Participate in Literature Reviews, and Attend Regional or National Orthopedic Meetings.📞 Call & Dutyon-call Duties: Share Evening and Weekend Call Responsibilities with Junior Residents or Independently. Multidisciplinary Coordination: Communicate Effectively with Physiotherapists, Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals to Ensure Seamless Patient Recovery.
