Optometrist (0-6 Years)

We are looking for a dedicated Optometrist to join our team in Thoothukudi. The candidate should be passionate about providing excellent eye care and helping patients achieve their best vision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct eye examinations: Perform comprehensive eye tests to assess patients' vision and eye health, using various instruments and techniques.

- Diagnose eye conditions: Identify common eye problems such as refractive errors, glaucoma, and cataracts, recommending appropriate treatment or referral to specialists.

- Prescribe corrective lenses: Determine the right glasses or contact lens prescriptions to meet the individual needs of patients.

- Educate patients: Inform patients about proper eye care techniques, the importance of regular eye check-ups, and how to use corrective lenses effectively.

- Maintain patient records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for future reference.

- Collaborate with healthcare staff: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and ensure patient satisfaction.

Required Skills and Expectations:

- A degree in Optometry is mandatory, with a valid license to practice.
