Job Description

We are seeking a Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our practice in Kattappana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care to our patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Patient Examination:** Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess patients' vision and eye health. This will involve using specialized diagnostic equipment to evaluate conditions accurately.

- **Diagnosis and Treatment:** Identify and diagnose various eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disorders. Develop treatment plans that may include medication, surgery, or eyewear prescriptions.

- **Surgical Procedures:** Perform ocular surgeries such as cataract removal or laser eye treatments. These procedures will be aimed at improving or restoring patients' vision.

- **Patient Education:** Educate patients about their eye conditions and the importance of eye care. Provide guidance on preventive measures and treatment options for maintaining optimal eye health.

- **Collaboration with Staff:** Work closely with nursing staff and optometrists to ensure a seamless patient care experience. This includes sharing insights and collaborating on treatment plans.
