JOB DESCRIPTION

Gem Care Hospitals, Telangana, is looking for a qualified Clinical Oncologist with a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience. The candidate will deliver high-quality patient care within our Oncology department across our Khammam and Hyderabad facilities.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and treat malignant and benign tumors; manage all stages of cancer care

• Administer and supervise chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy regimens

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case conferences

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on response and tolerance

• Counsel patients and caregivers; provide end-of-life guidance where required

• Maintain accurate EMR entries, treatment summaries, and follow-up records

• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, patient safety, and quality benchmarks

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

• MD / MS / DM / MCh - Medical Oncology or relevant specialization

• Valid MCI / NMC Registration mandatory

• 3 to 8 years of post-qualification clinical experience in the relevant specialty

• Strong diagnostic, surgical/clinical, and patient management skills

• Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration abilities

• Commitment to quality, patient safety, and ethical medical practice
