Overview :An occupational therapist (OT) helps people of all ages develop, recover, or maintain skills for daily living and working, using meaningful activities (occupations) to improve independence, health, and well-being, working across settings like hospitals, schools, and homes to address physical, mental, or developmental challenges. They adapt environments, teach new skills (like self-care or using assistive devices), and create personalized treatment plans to help individuals participate in important life roles, from managing a home to returning to work.
What they do:
Evaluate & Goal Set: Assess a patient's abilities, environment, and goals for independence.
Intervention: Use everyday activities (dressing, cooking, playing) as therapy to build skills like fine motor control, coordination, and problem-solving.
Adapt & Modify: Recommend adaptive equipment (wheelchairs, splints) or changes to the home/school/workplace to make tasks easier.
Support Independence: Help individuals, from infants to the elderly, manage emotional, social, and physical barriers to living fully.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Permanent
Full-time (240 days including holiday).
This is an annualized role so hours worked may vary from month to month.
The salary will be paid monthly.
OT (overtime) as per company requirements.
