Job Description

 Admission of patient

 Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.

 Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.

 Record patients' medical information and vital signs.

 Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained

 Giving medication and carrying out treatment prescribed by the doctor

 Assisting in providing a clean, orderly, well ventilated environment for the patient, and protecting him for infections, accidents and fire hazards.

 Meeting emergency situation and unforeseen situations with promptness and good judgement.

 Indent of Medicines and Maintenance of Drug record

 Exchange of sterilised material

 Shifting patient to other departments

 Discharge of Patients

 Checking and regulation of department’s inventory
