NPD Engineer (3-6 Years)

Product Design & Development

Develop new products and improve existing designs based on customer and market requirements.

Create engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using CAD tools.

Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

Build and test prototypes to validate product performance and reliability.

Project Management

Lead or support new product development projects from concept to launch.

Create and maintain project schedules, risk assessments, and development plans.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of milestones.

Track development costs and support product cost reduction initiatives.

Testing & Validation

Plan and conduct product testing, validation, and verification activities.

Analyze test results and recommend design modifications.

Ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.

Support failure analysis and corrective action investigations.

Manufacturing & Production Support

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable (DFM/DFA).

Support tooling development, production trials, and pilot builds.

Create work instructions and technical documentation for production.

Assist with process optimization and continuous improvement efforts.

Supplier & Component Development

Work with suppliers to develop and source components and materials.

Review supplier technical capabilities and assist in qualification processes.

Support supplier audits, PPAP submissions, and component validation.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as BOMs, routings, drawings, and specifications.

Ensure product documentation is complete and controlled through revision processes.

Support compliance with ISO, FDA, CE, UL, or other applicable standards (depending on industry).
