Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct neurophysiological tests: Perform various diagnostic tests, such as electroencephalograms (EEGs), electromyography (EMG), and nerve conduction studies (NCS), to evaluate the functioning of the nervous system.
2. Prepare patients for tests: Explain procedures to patients, ensure they are comfortable, and position them correctly for accurate test results.
3. Operate testing equipment: Set up and calibrate testing equipment, monitor patients during tests, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
4. Record and analyze test results: Accurately record data from tests, analyze results, and prepare reports for interpretation by neurologists or physicians.
5. Maintain equipment and supplies: Clean and sanitize equipment, ensure proper storage of supplies, and schedule regular maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
