Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform MRI scans: As an MRI Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to operate MRI machines to perform scans on patients as requested by physicians.
2. Ensure patient safety: You will be responsible for ensuring that patients are positioned correctly and safely in the MRI machine to obtain accurate imaging results.
3. Monitor equipment: Regularly checking and maintaining MRI machines to ensure they are in proper working condition and reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
4. Collaborate with healthcare team: Working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services and accurate interpretation of results.
5. Maintain patient records: Accurately documenting patient information, scanning protocols, and results in electronic medical records for future reference.
Required Skills and Expectations:
- Diploma in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working as an MRI Technologist.
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and understanding of imaging techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
