- Prepare patients: Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety during the scan.
- Monitor image quality: Monitor image quality during scans to ensure that clear and accurate images are obtained for diagnosis.
- Maintain records: Keep detailed records of patients' information, scan results, and any important data related to the MRI scans.
- Ensure safety protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of both patients and staff during MRI procedures.
Required skills and expectations:
1. Diploma in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. Minimum of 3-8 years of experience as an MRI Technician.
3. Strong understanding of MRI equipment operation and maintenance.
4. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
6. Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality imaging results.
7. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to MRI scans.
