• advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards

• understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.

• powershell scripting skills.

• familiarity with ssas, ssis, ssrs

• excellent written and verbal communication skills

• impeccable attention to detail.

• mcse/mcsa certifications preferred.

• experience with linux and windows server environments.

• extensive experience with database technologies in mssql.

• experience with cloud services (aws, microsoft azure) a plus.

• assist with schema design, code review, sql query tuning.

• install, implement and upgrade dbms installations.

• write and deploy sql patches a plus

• upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades.

• must have extensive and proven troubleshooting and administration experience in large and mission critical enterprise environments.

• must have good knowledge on high availability features like log shipping, clustering, replication.

• specialized data handling.
