Medical Production Engineer (Gauze & Sterile Products) - Saudi Arabia

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Medical Production Engineer to oversee our medical textile manufacturing lines. This role is critical in ensuring that our production of gauze swabs and sterile medical devices meets the highest efficiency and quality standards. You will bridge the gap between technical machine maintenance and medical-grade production management.

Core Responsibilities

Production Planning: Develop and monitor daily schedules to consistently meet production targets for plain and X-ray detectable gauze swabs.

Operational Excellence: Analyze and optimize workflows in cutting, folding, packing, and sterilization to minimize waste and maximize machine productivity.

Technical Maintenance: Schedule preventive maintenance and perform high-level troubleshooting on high-speed machinery, including Air-jet looms and automatic folding machines.

Quality & Compliance: Ensure all products strictly adhere to sterility and material standards, focusing on absorbency, biocompatibility, and international medical regulations.

Documentation Management: Maintain meticulous Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and validation documents.

Safety & Environment: Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect the workforce and maintain a Clean-room environment suitable for medical device production.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (Medical device or textile manufacturing is highly preferred).

Technical Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot high-speed industrial machinery.

Knowledge: Familiarity with sterile manufacturing standards and quality control documentation.

Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a production team.
