Job Description:

We are looking for a Medical Counsellor to join our reputed Eye Hospital in Ashok Nagar, Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for counselling patients and explaining eye care treatments, procedures and services in a clear and professional manner. The role involves interacting with patients, understanding their requirements and guiding them through the treatment process.

The Medical Counsellor will coordinate with doctors and hospital staff to ensure smooth patient communication and follow-up. The candidate should be able to explain treatment-related information clearly and answer basic patient queries. Good communication, active listening, empathy and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

The candidate will also be responsible for following up with patients regarding consultations, treatments and procedures. Maintaining proper patient communication and providing a positive hospital experience will be an important part of the role.

Candidates with minimum 1 year of experience in hospital counselling, medical counselling, healthcare or a related field are preferred. Experience in an eye hospital or healthcare environment will be an added advantage. Candidates should have good interpersonal skills, basic computer knowledge and a professional approach towards patients.

Location: Ashok Nagar, Chennai

Salary: ₹20,000 - ₹30,000 per month
