Job Description

• Candidate should have sound knowledge in Anatomy, General coding guidelines

• Should have hands on experience in E/M Ip or OP coding or any other specialty.

• Should have coding experience of 1 Year - 5 Years.

• Should have good communication skills.

• Certification : Mandatory ( Should be a certified coder in CPC/ CRC / CIC )

Responsibilities

• Accounts for coding and abstracting of patient encounters, including diagnostic and procedural information, significant reportable elements, and complications.

• Researches and analyzes data needs for reimbursement.

• Reviews and verifies documentation supports diagnoses, procedures and treatment results.

• Audits clinical documentation and coded data to validate documentation supports services rendered for reimbursement and reporting purposes.
