MEDICAL CODER/SR MEDICAL CODER SURGERY SPECIALITY (2 to 8 years exp)

Should have same day surgery (SDS)/ambulatory surgery (ASC) experience familiar with 1 to 6 series

Key Responsibilities:

Coding: Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes to outpatient surgical procedures based on medical records and physician notes.

Qualifications:

Any Graduation preferably life science

Certification: Certification from a recognized body (., CPC, CCS, or CCA) is highly desirable.

Experience: Previous experience in medical coding, specifically in outpatient or same day surgery coding, is preferred.

Skills:

Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and surgical procedures.

Proficiency in coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
