We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our team in Chennai. This role is essential for accurate and efficient coding of medical records, ensuring all data complies with regulations and guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Assign Medical Codes:** Use ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems to accurately assign codes to diagnoses and procedures based on patient records. Precision in coding ensures compliance with healthcare regulations.

- **Review Patient Records:** Analyze patient charts and documents to verify the accuracy and completeness of information before coding. Ensuring all necessary data is captured will minimize errors and discrepancies.

- **Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals:** Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other staff to clarify any ambiguities in patient records. Good communication skills are crucial for gathering accurate information.

- **Stay Updated with Coding Guidelines:** Keep current with the latest coding standards and regulations to ensure adherence to healthcare compliance. Regular training and study are necessary to stay informed about any changes.
