job description:

a magento developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce websites using the magento platform. the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of magento architecture, magento modules, magento templates, magento api integration, and magento customization.

responsibilities:

• developing and maintaining magento websites and extensions

• writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• troubleshooting and debugging magento issues

• performing magento upgrades and version migrations

• integrating magento with third-party applications

• customizing magento themes and templates

• developing custom magento modules

• creating and managing magento databases

• collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems

• ensuring website security and performance

requirements:

• strong understanding of magento architecture and development best practices

• experience with magento

• experience with php, html, css, javascript, and jquery

• experience with mysql and database management

• familiarity with git or other version control systems

• ability to work independently and as part of a team

• excellent problem-solving skills

• strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels

education and experience:

• bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field

• minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a magento developer

• magento certification is a plus

working conditions:

• full-time position, typically monday through friday

• may require occasional work outside of normal business hours

• may require occasional travel

• work may be performed in an office or remote setting.
