LMV Driver - Taratala Kolkata

Laxmi Logistics is looking for reliable, experienced drivers to operate our office vehicles (Tata Ace and Tata Intra) for local goods movement and daily business needs. The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-conscious, and familiar with city and highway routes.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the assigned Tata Ace / Tata Intra safely for pickups, deliveries, and office-related transport.

Load and unload goods with care, and ensure they are properly secured during transit.

Deliver goods to the right destination on time, as per instructions from the office.

Carry out daily vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, oil, and general condition).

Report any breakdown, damage, or maintenance need to the office immediately.

Keep the vehicle clean and in good working order.

Maintain trip records, fuel details, and delivery documents (challans, receipts, etc.).

Follow all traffic rules and company safety guidelines.

Requirements

Licence: Valid Heavy/Light Motor Vehicle (LMV Transport) driving licence.

Experience: Minimum [1-2] years of experience driving Tata Ace / Tata Intra or similar small commercial vehicles.

Knowledge: Good knowledge of local roads and routes; ability to use Google Maps.

Language: Able to communicate in Bengali and basic Hindi.

Health and conduct: Physically fit, with a clean driving record and no history of serious traffic violations.

Attitude: Punctual, honest, disciplined, and responsible.

Basic vehicle troubleshooting knowledge is an advantage.
