We are looking for a Library Attendant to join our team in Kalahandi, India. As a Library Attendant, your main responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the library, assisting patrons with finding books and other materials, checking books in and out, and helping with basic administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Keeping the library clean and organized: You will be responsible for ensuring that all books and materials are in their proper place and that the library is kept neat and tidy.
- Assisting patrons: You will help patrons find books and other materials, answer questions, and provide basic information about library services.
- Checking books in and out: You will use a computerized system to check books in and out for patrons and ensure that all materials are accounted for.
- Administrative tasks: You may be asked to help with basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and answering phones.
Required skills and expectations:
- Minimum education of 12th pass.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
