Librarian (Female Candidates Required)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Librarian for our school in Sangrur Punjab to support our educational programs and foster a love of reading among students.

Responsibilities

Assist students and faculty in locating and accessing library resources.

Manage library collections, including acquisition, cataloging, and classification of books and materials.

Organize library events and activities to promote reading and research skills.

Maintain a welcoming and informative environment in the library.

Provide instruction on the use of library resources, databases, and catalog systems.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.

Familiarity with library management systems and cataloging standards.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff.

Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Knowledge of digital libraries and online research tools.
