1. Transcription & Document Creation
Dictation Transcription: Accurately transcribe dictated notes, audio recordings, or handwritten drafts from advocates into clean, digital formats.
Legal Drafting Support: Type out high-quality drafts of agreements, contracts, affidavits, power of attorney (POA) documents, sale deeds, writs, and legal notices.
Pleading Preparation: Format court pleadings, petitions, appeals, and written statements ensuring compliance with specific court margin, font, and spacing rules (., High Court or District Court formats).
2. Proofreading & Formatting Accuracy
Error Checking: Review drafted texts meticulously to eliminate spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, or numerical discrepancies in case numbers, dates, and financial figures.
Legal Citations: Ensure legal citations, case law references, and statutes are typed exactly as cited by the legal team.
Template Standardization: Maintain and apply standardized company or firm templates for corporate correspondence and legal filings.
3. File Management & Archiving
Digital & Physical Filing: Organize, index, and maintain digital case folders on cloud drives or server systems alongside physical case files.
Cause List Tracking: Assist in typing up weekly or daily case summaries, cause lists (court schedules), and client appointment logs.
Notary & Stamp Paper Coordination: Print final drafts onto stamp papers, legal green sheets, or ledger papers ensuring zero alignment overlapping.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Typing Speed & Accuracy: Maintaining a net typing speed of 40 to 50+ words per minute (WPM) with an accuracy rate of 98% or higher.
Turnaround Time: Delivering typed urgent briefs or court applications within tight layout deadlines.
Zero-Defect Documentation: Minimizing re-prints caused by formatting or typographical errors.
