Assistant LAB Manager

The role involves setting up of Lab equipment’s, receiving and booking samples for testing, preparation of samples for testing of combustion properties (MIE, MIT, LIT, Go-No-Go , Burning Behavior, Powder Volume Resistivity) & Process Safety Testing (DSC, ARC) report preparation on resulting data.

Technical Duties

· Set up and manage the Process Safety Lab.

· Sample booking

· Sample Preparation

· Laboratory hygiene

· Data analysis

· Report writing

· Ensuring the laboratory equipment is operating safely and as per standards.

· Liaise with clients to communicate results and testing reports.

· Resolve client’s technical queries related to Testing/Process Safety issues.

· Maintenance of Laboratory Equipment

Business Development

· Creating new business markets for Testing and consulting projects

· Negotiate projects with clients, issue proposals and quotations, follow-up quotations.

· Help prepare technical information to help with the marketing and sales process.

· Make technical presentations to clients.

· Write technical articles for publication from time to time.
