ITI Plumber (4-8 Years)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plumber with 4-8 years of experience in the installation of HVAC and domestic hot water systems including chillers, heat pumps, calorifiers, plate heat exchangers and associated piping networks. The candidate shall be responsible for carrying out site installation activities in accordance with project drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out installation works for chilled water, condenser water and domestic hot water piping systems.

Execute installation activities related to chillers, heat pumps, calorifiers, plate heat exchangers, storage tanks and associated equipment.

Install and assemble piping systems using:

MS (Mild Steel) Pipes

HPVC Pipes

PPR Pipes

Copper Pipes (if required)

Install and align pumps, valves and accessories as per approved shop drawings.

Install various types of valves including:

Butterfly Valves

Gate Valves

Ball Valves

Check Valves

Balancing Valves

Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs)

Differential Pressure Regulating Valves (DRVs)

Control Valves and Actuated Valves

Perform cutting, threading, grooving and joining of piping systems using appropriate tools and equipment.

Install pipe supports, hangers, brackets and anchors as per project requirements.

Read and interpret piping layouts, isometric drawings and shop drawings.

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other trades to ensure smooth execution of works.

Conduct pressure testing, flushing and commissioning support activities.

Identify and report installation issues, material shortages and site constraints.

Ensure work is completed within project schedules while maintaining quality standards.

Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure compliance with site safety regulations and permit requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 4-8 years of experience in plumbing and HVAC installation works.

Proven experience in installation of chillers, heat pumps, calorifiers and hot water generation systems.

Strong knowledge of MS, HPVC and PPR piping installation techniques.

Experience in installation of DRVs, balancing valves and control valves.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and P&ID diagrams.

Familiarity with hydrostatic pressure testing and flushing procedures.

Ability to work independently and under the direction of site supervisors.

Good understanding of safe working practices and use of PPE.

UAE/GCC experience will be an added advantage.

District cooling systems.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in construction environments and outdoor conditions.

Ability to lift and handle piping materials, valves and equipment safely.

Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
